Pixel Orchard Game Launch
A 19-second pixel-art game invitation that turns an orchard task into a rising reward counter and a clear play-now CTA.
Field notes / why it works
The first 1.25 seconds deliver a legible branded invitation, then the title clears to a player facing a tree by 1.5 seconds. Brief instruction cards at 3.0 and 5.2 seconds interrupt the orchard action, while the on-screen collectible count grows from 0004 at 7.8 seconds to 0011 at 8.8 seconds. A reward card at 11.8 seconds sets up a 4.58-second CTA and URL hold.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A retro game world becomes a compact invitation: branded title, a playable action, a visible reward counter, then a direct destination. The opening promises entry to the world immediately; the middle shows what a player does and what can be gained.
Why it works
- The 0:00–0:01.25 opening uses a large central logo and a short invitation against a bright, detailed orchard; the premise reads without sound.
- Gameplay at 0:03.7 and a counter changing from 0004 at 0:07.8 to 0011 at 0:08.8 turn a general promise into visible progress.
- Text-card interruptions at 0:03.0, 0:05.2 and 0:11.8 reset attention before the 0:13.4–0:18.0 play-now card.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 19.0 s · 24 fps |
| Pace | 8 measured shots, 7 cuts, 22.1 cuts/min; 2 internal changes, 28.5 picture changes/min; mean shot 2.37 s, median 1.6 s |
| Script | No verified speech. The transcript's Japanese-like six-word result is a low-confidence music false positive; the information is on screen. |
| Voice | None verified; designed for silent viewing |
| On screen | 2D pixel-art world/gameplay about 79% of runtime; wood-texture type cards about 16%; black tail about 5%; opening title shares the world shot |
| Captions | No subtitles; all-caps pixel headline cards and compact pixel UI |
| Sound | Rhythmic bed, roughly 107 BPM (music classification inferred); no clear cut-synced effect pattern |
| Structure | 7 content beats: invitation → action → example → objective → score → reward → CTA; 0.96 s black tail |
