Proactive Agents launch film
A studio launch film turns a support complaint into two animated feature chapters and a customer-call payoff.
Field notes / why it works
A deadpan customer complaint and physical handset move establish the pain in the first second; the 0:07 record insert makes the hold-music joke visible. Two full-screen feature resets at 0:52 and 1:11 organize a 113-second explanation, while 32 within-shot changes keep the measured 8 cuts/min visually active. The acted call at 1:33–1:46 proves the remembered-context benefit with a specific remedy.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A customer deadpans about a familiar service frustration, then product leaders explain a new capability. The film turns abstract features into clean floating cards and a concrete, acted customer interaction before ending on a simple brand card. The promise starts as relief from repetition at 0:00 and becomes an explicit product announcement at 0:38.
Why it works
- The first 15 seconds make the pain legible through irony, a prop action, a hold-music insert, and a second customer setup before any feature list.
- Two feature names get their own quiet, full-screen reset cards at 0:52 and 1:11; animated message and procedure overlays then show what those terms mean.
- The 1:33–1:46 acted call pays off the opening complaint: the agent remembers a prior need and proposes a specific remedy. The result is easier to understand than a claim alone.
