Luma Agents: from creative block to campaign worlds
A cinematic launch film turns a single creative prompt into a rapid, coherent spread of campaign results.
Field notes / why it works
The restrained black-and-white quote holds one shot for 4.04 seconds and delays speech until 0:05.7, giving the particle motif time to become a question. A human-to-interface pivot at 0:20–0:30 makes the product action legible, then 11 cuts in 0:50–0:55 turn one campaign concept into many polished outputs before a 7.21-second overview and late logo reveal.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A cinematic product launch begins as an abstract, nearly silent idea, shows the friction of creative work, then introduces a collaborator through a simple prompt. The second half proves the product through an escalating sequence of interfaces, people, and finished campaign assets; the brand appears only after the results.
Why it works
- The opening has no spoken words for 5.7 s and only one picture change in the first 3 s: a small white quote and drifting points of light invite attention through restraint.
- The fatigue-to-tool pivot is visible: late work at 0:20–0:21 gives way to an inviting prompt at 0:22 and typing at 0:23–0:28.
- The proof accelerates sharply: 11 detected cuts occur in 0:50–0:55, cycling a single drink concept through product shots, outdoor placements, and a fantasy film before a project overview and logo.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 24 fps · 68.4 s |
| Pace | 40 detected shots; 39 cuts; 34.2–45.6 cuts/min allowing uncertain changes; 36 detected picture changes/min; mean shot 1.71 s, median 1.27 s |
| Script | 56 measured spoken words; 66 wpm across the film, 81 wpm while speaking; three long thought units, one question |
| Voice | Low-register, measured, cinematic narrator; emphasis grows through the problem and possibility question |
| On screen | Approx. 40% people and creative workspaces, 25% interface or design boards, 20% campaign examples, 15% abstract particles/brand (estimated from sheets) |
| Captions | No conventional subtitles; small, pale interface labels and a few floating words are part of the design |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, music-like bed; rises into the result montage; few clearly identifiable cut effects |
| Structure | Seven beats: abstract open → friction → question → collaborator → workflow → result burst → branded end card; proof begins about 0:38, dense payoff at 0:50 |
