MacBook Neo colour handoff reveal
A music-led laptop launch film that turns colourway handoffs into a tactile hook, then ends on a spare name card.
Field notes / why it works
The first three seconds use hands to uncover successive coloured laptops in one locked overhead shot, making the product change visible without text or cuts. Four brisk proof shots from 0:08.9 to 0:13.8 interrupt the longer product passages, while a 5.6-second black-on-white end card gives the name time to register.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A succession of colourful product shells is handed through a single top-down frame, then the new product opens, works, moves between people, and resolves to a spare name card. The first three seconds promise a tactile, colour-led reveal through motion; the product name appears on the screen around 0:04 and again alone at 0:24.
Why it works
- The first 3 seconds contain no cut, yet several hands peel away four contrasting laptops. Object motion supplies the hook without a headline.
- The 8-shot film changes pace: one 8.88-second opening shot, four short proof inserts from 0:08.9 to 0:13.8, one 9.88-second lifestyle stretch, then a 5.6-second name card.
- The white field makes lemon yellow, slate blue, silver, and blush pink readable instantly; the product stays the strongest shape in nearly every frame.
