A Playlist Sorts Itself
A silent, single-shot UI feature launch that turns one highlighted control into staggered list updates.
Field notes / why it works
The neon outline isolates the Mix control by 0.25 s, giving the viewer one action to watch in a dense interface. At 2.25 s the control changes state, then Auto labels and row movement provide an in-place proof of the feature; the 12.03 s continuous shot leaves time to inspect the result without narration.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A single close view of a dark product interface turns one control into a visible result. The selected control gets a bright outline in the opening 0.25 s; from 2.25 s onward, small status labels and list motion make the feature legible without narration.
Why it works
- The magenta ring around “Mix” draws the eye to the only action from 0.25–1.75 s.
- At 2.25 s, the ring changes to a pale active state and “Auto” badges begin appearing beside the rows; the feature has a visible before and after.
- A staggered row reveal continues through the middle of the 12 s hold, so the viewer can inspect BPM, key and duration values rather than reading a title card.
