Dark UI recommendation engine reveal
A 31-second ReplyOS feature launch that moves from a terminal cold open through a seven-signal model to a personalized feed.
Field notes / why it works
The terminal types through the first 2.75 seconds, creating a technical curiosity gap before the problem statement at about 0:05. A repeated-card UI at 0:08.9 makes the failure visible, then a seven-signal chart at 0:15.3 gives the solution a concrete model. Short resets at 0:17.1 and 0:21.1 lead into the personalized UI and the brand close at 0:26.6.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A near-black terminal command opens a compact, silent feature story. A generic interface exposes {{PAIN}}; a named mechanism and its visual data model solve it; a personalized result and small product end card close the loop. The promise becomes legible through text and UI by about 0:05, rather than through narration.
Why it works
- The empty terminal types itself into focus from 0:00–0:02.75, creating a specific technical setting before the first thesis card at about 0:05.
- The problem gets a concrete picture: a repeated-post grid at about 0:08.9 is followed by a seven-signal bar chart at about 0:15.3. The viewer sees the mechanism, not merely a benefit claim.
- Three late resets keep the payoff moving: a short anti-repetition headline at 0:17.1, a diversity card at 0:18.3, and a result question at 0:21.1 before the personalized UI and brand close.
