Field notes / why it works

A still, grey, centered room at 0:00–0:04 sets up a strong color and scale reversal when the explorer enters a radial portal near 0:09. The same rear-view character connects a luminous blue world at 0:11, a fleet over pink terrain at 0:14–0:18, and a field at 0:19; floating world spheres at 0:20.6 make the range of possibilities legible before the end card. The detector's four-shot count understates the many visible scene changes inside its 22.97-second first segment.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A young explorer faces the camera in a plain room, then crosses a threshold into rapidly escalating impossible worlds. The film lets the visual journey demonstrate the promise of a world creation product; a short end slate names the update. The product announcement arrives in the post and closing card, while the visual promise begins when the room changes at about 0:04–0:07.

Why it works

  • The 0:00–0:04 locked, grey room gives the bright environments a clear before-and-after contrast.
  • One rear-view character links a dark radial tunnel (0:09), luminous underwater world (0:12), fleet above pink terrain (0:16), and open pink field (0:19). Each new environment renews curiosity without a verbal explanation.
  • At 0:20.6, floating world spheres turn the journey into a choice of possibilities; the product slate follows at about 0:26.8.

PaceDetector: 4 shots, 3 certain cuts, 6.1 cuts/min, 7.33 s mean shot. It also flags 34 uncertain visual changes; the sheets show many scene changes within its long first segment. Treat the major visual beats below as the editing guide, not the 4-shot count.
Script23 transcribed spoken words, about 48 wpm across the whole film and 135 wpm while speaking; long music-led visual interval from about 0:07–0:24. Some opening words are likely misheard by transcription.
VoiceBrief, high-register spoken/sung opening (inferred from pitch and subtitles); concise announcer-style product close (inferred). Avoid voice imitation.
On screenCinematic, character-led environment footage or animated scenes; roughly 0:00–0:07 grey setup, 0:07–0:24 world traversal, 0:24–0:29 product close.
CaptionsTiny white, centered lower-third phrases over the character journey; a restrained, widely tracked end slate.
SoundTonal cinematic music throughout (measured); around 75 BPM is a low-confidence estimate. Approx. −12.9 LUFS integrated, +0.5 dBFS measured true peak.
StructureOrdinary room → portal → three escalating worlds → world menu → brand slate and application CTA.
