Everyone a Director: Kling 3.0 Launch Film
A cinematic AI-video launch anthology that turns capability claims into genre-spanning scene proofs and brief UI reveals.
Field notes / why it works
A minimal promise card holds until 0:04, then an arena scene makes the claim feel cinematic before any feature list. The fighter continuity sequence at 0:14–0:30, sports/control material at 0:37–0:44, pet/prompt sequence at 1:07–1:19, and multilingual wedding at 1:25–1:43 each make a different capability visible; 58 shots keep the 114-second anthology moving.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A widescreen launch film declares a creative promise, proves it with several miniature genres, and briefly exposes the product controls behind the images. Its engine is alternation: immersive cinematic examples make the result desirable; sparse labels and UI evidence explain what the product can do. The last stretch widens from a single character to multilingual dialogue, alternate worlds, and a rapid genre montage.
Why it works
- The opening spends 0:00–0:04 on a logo-to-claim reveal before any footage; the thesis is readable even with sound off.
- The 0:14–0:30 fight pairs close dialogue, repeated fighter identity, close action inserts, and a consistent characters label around 0:22.7, turning an abstract feature into a continuity test.
- The film refreshes its visual world roughly every 20–30 s: sports/editing at 0:37, the pet/product vignette at 1:07, prompt-driven music at 1:15, multilingual wedding dialogue at 1:25, and a final period/action montage after 1:44.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 114.2 s at 25 fps |
| Pace | 58 detected shots; 29.9–43.1 possible cuts/min; mean 1.97 s, median 1.16 s per detected shot; 35.2 confirmed cuts/inside-shot changes per minute |
| Script | Sparse scene dialogue, not continuous narration: 73 machine-transcribed words overall; roughly 43 wpm across the film, 236 wpm in speech islands. Transcript has 31 low-confidence words. |
| Voice | Character dialogue from different archetypes; no single guiding narrator. Use distinct adult voices that belong to each scene. |
| On screen | Cinematic action/story scenes dominate; brief black claim cards, product UI/screen inserts, and feature labels interrupt them. Exact time shares are not measured. |
| Captions | Small, white, sentence-case diegetic dialogue subtitles where needed; separate thin uppercase feature labels and brief UI prompt bars. No continuous karaoke captions. |
| Sound | Tonal, music-like bed throughout most of the film; dialogue in islands; music-forward mix. No reliably detected cut-synced effects. −14.3 LUFS integrated; measured true peak +0.4 dBFS. |
| Structure | Promise → character consistency → flexible edit examples → identity/pet transformation → prompt/scene creation → multilingual dialogue → final genre montage. No explicit end CTA in the supplied frames. |
