Backpack's Dark Points Allocation Reveal
A 17.5-second square announcement moves from black-on-black 3D lettering to a stark two-number allocation card.
Field notes / why it works
A near-black 3D word gains its first bright edge around 0:01 and becomes readable by about 0:03, creating a visual question before the facts appear. One cut at 0:05 leads into a restrained two-number card that brightens around 0:10.3 and holds for roughly seven seconds, giving the 24% and 1% figures time to register.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A near-black, square motion graphic hides a three-dimensional topic word, reveals it with a narrow grazing light, then replaces that mystery with two large numeric allocations. The video itself delays its specific promise until about 0:10.3; the accompanying post copy supplies the context before play.
Why it works
- At 0:00 the frame is almost black; from about 0:01 to 0:03, moving edge light makes the viewer decode the word instead of receiving a full title immediately.
- The high-motion first 10 seconds contract into a still, legible numeric card at about 0:10.3. That change of pace marks the payoff.
- The restrained black, charcoal, and white system lets the two figures dominate; the reference's 24% and 1% sit side by side through the ending.

| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1:1 · 17.5 s · 720 × 720 · 29.97 fps |
| Pace | 2 measured shots; 1 cut at 0:04.97; 3.4 cuts/min; 2 internal picture changes at about 0:00.95 and 0:10.25; 10.3 total picture changes/min; mean shot 8.77 s |
| Script | No spoken words. Three short on-screen text groups: the topic word, then two number-plus-label groups. |
| Voice | None; do not add narration for the faithful format. |
| On screen | 100% designed motion graphic: raking-light 3D lettering, then flat allocation typography. No presenter or footage. |
| Captions | None; the text is the content, not subtitles. |
| Sound | Music is present; rough tempo estimate 139 BPM, low confidence. Dark cinematic pulse is a suitable production interpretation (inferred). Source measures −9.2 LUFS integrated and +1.0 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Conceal → reveal a term → switch to the concrete numeric payoff → hold. No in-video CTA. |
