A logo builds itself, then enters the brand world
A 16-second square identity film turns a thin geometric outline into a dimensional mark and tests it across social, luminous, and physical applications.
Field notes / why it works
A tiny outlined primitive grows into a solid emblem by about 2 seconds, creating a clear visual payoff without narration. The name resolves around 5.4–6.8 seconds, then fast palette and context switches at 7.5, 8.0, 9.5 and 11.0 seconds keep the same mark fresh before a 3.55-second laptop hold. Seven shots in 16 seconds give the design both momentum and time to register.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A tiny outlined primitive grows, multiplies and resolves into a finished emblem. The film then proves the emblem works as a wordmark, a standalone icon, a social avatar, a luminous object and a physical product decal. The promise is purely visual: watch a design system emerge from one simple shape.
Why it works
- The first 1.5 seconds turn a small outline into a large rotating construction, creating a visual question before the resolved mark appears around 1.5–2.5 seconds.
- At 3.5–8 seconds the mark becomes a readable wordmark on dark, then flips to the same lockup on cyan. That contrast demonstrates range with little text.
- The last 8 seconds give the icon four applications in quick succession: isolated icon, social profile, luminous treatment, laptop decal. The repeated symbol is the thread.
