Mascot Meets Fantasy Quest
A wordless animated crossover ad turns a mascot’s game-world mishap into a limited-quest reveal.
Field notes / why it works
A lime-green mascot interrupts a symmetrical blue game stage in the first second, then a portal flash around 0:02 pays off with a new cast. The 17-shot edit accelerates through alternating food/prop and reaction close-ups at 0:11–0:20 before a mock choice UI at 0:21.6; the product and reward reveal wait until 0:23–0:29, turning the visual joke into a clear offer.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A familiar mascot tumbles into a second brand’s world, gets entangled in a short visual gag, and only then does the film identify the collaboration and reward. The promise is implied by the portal and recognizable visual systems in the first 3 s; the explicit offer waits until the final 2 s.
Why it works
- The green character moves into a static blue/orange game-like stage within 0:00–0:01, giving the eye one moving focal point before any text.
- The edit escalates from a wide portal at 0:00 to a group reveal around 0:03, a flash at 0:07, a cooking/food gag at 0:11–0:19, and a mock choice UI at 0:21.6.
- The product name appears around 0:23, while the collaboration and reward invitation arrive at 0:29; the ending converts the gag into an offer.
