Kalshi's typed-world launch film

A 24-second product launch that moves from a typed global claim through a mint text tunnel to partner proof, use cases, and a builder URL.

Field notes / why it works

The opening types a short thesis by 1.25 seconds, then breaks into mint glitch type at 2 seconds and a dense text tunnel by 3.8 seconds. A full mint inversion at 5.3 seconds resets the eye; partner proof at 8.6 seconds and successive application labels through 21.3 seconds turn the broad promise into concrete uses before the URL appears at 21.9 seconds.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A widescreen, sound-led product announcement begins with a typewriter-style thesis over a drifting globe. Its letters break into a wall of repeated words, invert into a bright brand-colour flash, then clear to partner proof, use cases, and a single destination. The promise appears as text in the first 1.25 s; the use cases make the broad claim concrete later.

Why it works

  • The first statement builds character by character from 0:00.25 to 0:01.25, leaving an open loop before the full thought is readable.
  • A restrained black, white, and mint system becomes visually dense at 0:03.8, then flips to a mint field at 0:05.3. That contrast resets attention without a presenter.
  • The long middle shot names distribution and applications at 0:08.6–0:14.5; three more use-case cards appear at 0:18.4–0:21.3 before the builder URL at 0:21.9.

ScriptOn-screen display copy only; no measurable spoken words or WPM. Use one short claim, repeated texture words, brief use-case labels, and one URL.
VoiceNone. No people appear.
On screen100% designed motion graphics and typography; no visible live-action or product UI.
CaptionsNone; the large display type carries the message.
SoundRhythmic music-like bed, rough 170 BPM estimate; exact instruments cannot be established from the supplied facts and frames. −16.6 LUFS integrated, −0.6 dBFS true peak.
