Superhuman identity reveal

A wordless launch film turns a family of app marks into a flexible identity system through rapid symbol studies and slower type and palette proofs.

Field notes / why it works

Three tiny marks collect before the first announcement card at 0:02.5, creating visual curiosity with almost no copy. Four roughly 0.54-second material treatments at 0:12.6–0:14.8 accelerate the reveal, then 5.54-second type and 6.04-second palette shots prove the mark belongs to a complete system before the end lockup at 0:37.8.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A wordless, landscape brand launch film introduces a new umbrella identity through motion design. Small product marks gather on an almost white field; restrained announcement text gives way to a construction drawing, a rapid run of dimensional logo treatments, typography and palette cards, then a compact final lockup. The promise is visual: {{PRODUCT}} has a coherent new system worth looking at.

Why it works

  • The quiet icon build at 0:00–0:02.3 creates a question before the title card answers it; the reference does not rush into a large logo.
  • The pace turns sharply at 0:12.6: four logo material studies take about 0.54 s each, making one mark feel flexible across worlds.
  • The film proves the identity is a system: symbol studies at 0:12.6–0:21.9, type at 0:21.9–0:27.5, palette at 0:27.5–0:33.5, and a lockup by 0:37.8.
