LTX-2 Cinematic Launch Film
A cinematic AI video launch that moves from a suspenseful human hook to rapid visual samples, capability claims, and a three-tier use-case map.
Field notes / why it works
One centered suspense line bridges five contrasting close-ups from 0:00 to 0:07.5 before the UI reveal, making the product appearance feel earned. The 25-shot montage alternates spectacle with orientation: a name card at 0:12.4, speed and 4K claims at 0:15.7–0:25.2, then clear tier-to-job labels at 0:29.6–0:38.2.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A 47-second, 16:9 product launch film opens like a miniature dramatic movie: a human face, a withheld transformation, and a line of centered white text. Around 7.5 seconds it reveals a product selector, then alternates surprising visual examples with sparse claims, a large name card, and a three-tier use-case explanation before ending on a bare logo.
Why it works
- The opening withholds the product while the same centered phrase persists across four radically different images from 0:00–0:07.5; this creates a curiosity gap before the first UI proof.
- The edit compresses a broad creative range into 25 shots in 47 seconds, with the quickest run at 0:07.5–0:15.7 and another at 0:25.2–0:31.4.
- It makes the offer legible twice: an early model menu at 0:07.5–0:08.8, then tier-to-job mappings at 0:29.6–0:38.2. The big product-name card at 0:12.4 resets attention between those sections.

|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 47.0 s at 30 fps |
| Pace | 25 shots, 24 measured cuts; 30.6–34.4 cuts/min including three uncertain changes; 1.88 s mean, 1.4 s median shot |
| Script | 18 machine-transcribed spoken words; 49 wpm over the whole film, 142 wpm during speech; the opening transcript has an obvious “before/four” error against the visible text |
| Voice | Adult, medium-register, dramatic and conversational; speech concentrated at 0:00–0:07.4, then a brief detected phrase near 0:20 |
| On screen | Approximately 70% cinematic example footage, 15% product UI/tier composites, 15% black cards/abstract claim graphics by running time (inferred from sheets) |
| Text | Large centered white sans-serif phrase and claim cards; sparse, not running subtitles |
| Sound | Continuous tonal bed measured about 9.8 dB under speech; music-forward, cinematic (inferred); no reliably identifiable cut-by-cut SFX |
| Structure | Human mystery → reveal/menu → example montage → name and capability claims → tier mapping → playful examples → logo; no spoken CTA |
