Research request to evidence-backed slides
An 80-second life-sciences product launch that grows one dataset request into connected research and a finished deck.
Field notes / why it works
The first 3 seconds turn a sparse line drawing into a chart metaphor before the product UI appears. A single request expands through visible file upload (0:08), analysis (0:18), connected research (0:27–0:49), and a deck preview (1:02–1:09); 15 internal picture changes keep the long screen scene moving. The final artifact proves the workflow instead of ending on a feature list.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A quiet, hand-drawn brand mark assembles on a warm neutral field, then gives way to a desktop AI workflow. One credible user request grows into visible uploads, connected tools, analysis, research, and a presentation artifact. The product promise becomes clear by about 0:09 through action on screen, rather than narration.
Why it works
- The first 2.75 s use a spare black-line drawing on beige; its pieces appear incrementally, creating an unusually calm visual hook before the interface arrives.
- The viewer can follow a complete cause-and-effect chain: dataset request at 0:04, upload at 0:08, analysis at 0:18, external research around 0:27–0:49, then a slide output at 1:02–1:09.
- Tool and artifact reveals refresh the same long screen scene roughly 15 times; measured picture changes total about 13.5/min despite only four detected shots.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 80.0 s · 30 fps |
| Pace | 4 measured shots, 3 cuts; 2.2–3.0 cuts/min allowing one uncertain change; 15 internal steps; ~13.5 total picture changes/min; mean shot 20.01 s, median 7.04 s |
| Script | Screen text carries the story. The 7-word transcript at 0:25.8 is low confidence and appears unrelated to the visible workflow; do not treat it as narration. |
| Voice | No reliable spoken voice evidenced; use no narrator. |
| On screen | Opening line illustration (~3 s), then desktop product capture and document previews (~68 s), with a final minimal brand mark (~9 s). |
| Captions | No burned speech captions. Small UI copy, prompts, tool labels, and document text supply the explanation. |
| Sound | Continuous music-like bed indicated by the audio measurements; measured −16.4 LUFS integrated, −4.8 dBFS true peak. Tempo estimate ~179 BPM has low confidence. |
| Structure | 5 beats: mark → request/upload → analysis → research expansion → deck artifact and brand close. |
