Field notes / why it works

The face and large title identify the product at 0:00, followed by full-body action within 0.32 seconds. Two unusually long movement takes (13.86 and 10.16 seconds) make the ability legible; the bright corridor shift at 0:30.6 and ~1-second variant cuts near 0:42 renew attention before the logo.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A near-still face and oversized name card announce a humanoid product in the first 0.3 seconds. Roughly 30 seconds of sustained, full-body movement prove its ability, followed by a quick sequence of changed appearances and a final brand card. It promises a new product through demonstration, with no spoken explanation.

Why it works

  • The 0:00 close-up creates a human/robot ambiguity, while the name card resolves what we are seeing immediately.
  • Shots 2 and 3 hold for 13.86 and 10.16 seconds. The continuous moving body, rather than rapid editing, supplies the visual change and credibility.
  • At 0:30.6 the film changes from a dark performance space to a bright corridor; cuts compress from 6-second takes to roughly 1-second looks at 0:42–0:44.
