EagleEye's Layered Vision Reveal
A first-person product film adds detection views and tracking overlays to one night scene before a stark title reveal.
Field notes / why it works
The opening puts the viewer inside a teal-green HUD immediately, with a moving foreground person and compass overlay in the first 3 seconds. The same scene gains an edge view around 0:11, false colour around 0:27, and seven tracking changes from 0:30.6 to 0:38, so each layer adds evidence before the product name appears at 0:42.5.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A first-person field demonstration starts inside a green night-vision interface. A person moves out of the way, exposing a real environment; subsequent edge and false-colour views reveal detections and tracked figures before a stark white product-name card. The promise is experiential: the viewer sees additional information appear inside the scene before receiving the product name.
Why it works
- Frame one already contains a person, vehicles, a compass-like inset and a wide HUD arc; no logo setup delays the scene (0:00–0:03).
- The mode sequence refreshes the same geography: green view, monochrome outline view around 0:11, then cyan/yellow false-colour view around 0:27–0:38. The viewer can compare what each layer makes visible.
- The brand reveal waits until 0:42.5, after the visual demonstration, and gives the name about six seconds to register.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 30 fps · 48.5 s |
| Pace | 2 measured shots; 1 certain cut, or 1.2–2.5 cuts/min including one uncertain change at 0:27; 8 measured internal steps; about 11.1 picture changes/min |
| Script | 16 detected spoken words, about 48 wpm over the full film and 107 wpm during speech; transcription has low-confidence words |
| Voice | Sparse, low-register, clipped radio-style field communication; no explanatory narration |
| On screen | About 42.5 s continuous first-person scene and 6 s white title card; interface stays over the scene |
| Captions | No dialogue subtitles; only tiny HUD labels and the closing product name |
| Sound | Low, tonal background bed (inferred from audio measurement) and short field-voice bursts; measured −24.7 LUFS integrated, −0.7 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | 5 beats: immediate POV → orientation → detection mode → tracked mode → title; payoff grows from roughly 0:11 through 0:38; no explicit CTA |
