Three Lives Through AI Glasses
A cinematic glasses launch moves from a workshop demo to a campus gag and an emotional piano payoff, with the brand revealed at the end.
Field notes / why it works
A person leans into the lens at 0:00, and the glasses and first-person cyan UI explain the premise by 0:13. The film renews interest with a campus test at 0:25 and a warmer family-and-piano story at 0:48, then holds the final performance before showing the brand around 1:39.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A cinematic product launch film makes a device feel real through three situations rather than a feature list. Its promise becomes clear by 0:13: the glasses perceive a scene and offer useful guidance. The benefits progress from making something, to a risky social moment, to reconnecting through music; a spare title card arrives only at 1:39.
Why it works
- The 0:00 close lean into the lens and the visible glasses at 0:02 create an immediate point of view, before any brand card.
- Cyan first-person interface graphics at 0:05–0:24 translate an abstract AI claim into visible recognition, scanning, and selection.
- The product crosses three emotional stakes: workshop success by 0:25, an awkward campus encounter at 0:33–0:47, and an older person's piano performance from 0:48 through the final title.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 23.98 fps · 102.6 s |
| Pace | 21 measured shots, 20 cuts; 11.7–15.2 cuts/min including uncertain changes; 15.8 picture changes/min; mean shot 4.89 s, median 2.75 s |
| Script | 89 detected words; 82 wpm over the whole film, about 146 wpm while speaking; 27 short sentences, 5 questions. Some dialogue has low transcription confidence. |
| Voice | Several conversational character voices and a calm synthetic assistant voice (inferred from scenes); no continuous narrator. |
| On screen | Live-action workshop, campus, and home vignettes; composited first-person UI and piano guidance. Approx. one third of screen time carries prominent interface graphics. |
| Captions | No burned speech captions. Sparse in-world labels, holographic readouts, and one large final wordmark. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal/cinematic bed, room dialogue, then a piano-led finish (piano role inferred from frames and dialogue). Measured −19.0 LUFS integrated, true peak −0.0 dBFS. |
| Structure | Lens hook → capability demonstration → social test → emotional music payoff → hard title ending; preorder CTA is in the post copy, not the video. |
