Field notes / why it works

A polished output and oversized feature title appear at 0:00, then a rudimentary sketch at 0:01 creates an immediate input-to-result question. Progressive strokes and labels resolve into a cinematic scene by about 0:05; new genres around 0:07 and 0:10–0:19 demonstrate range before a final tree-sketch payoff at 0:20.7. The 25.6-second reel uses 8 measured cuts and no narration, so the transformation remains understandable on mute.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

An AI video feature is demonstrated through a silent, cinematic proof reel: show a polished output immediately, rewind to its crude input sketch, let that sketch resolve into a finished clip, then repeat across several different scenes. The promise is visible by roughly 0:03; the viewer can compare the input and result without spoken explanation.

Why it works

  • The 0:00 finished desert scene and large capability title establish the result before any setup; the input drawing replaces it at 0:01.
  • The first drawing gains subject, prop, background, and small object labels from 0:01–0:02.5, then resolves into a cinematic scene by about 0:05.
  • A new drawn world at about 0:06.7 and a later tree sketch at 0:19.2 refresh the same before/after question; the final live-action-looking tree makes a clear 0:20.7–0:25.6 payoff.

Pace9 measured shots, 8 cuts, 18.7 cuts/min; 5 internal changes, 30.4 total picture changes/min; 2.85 s mean shot. The 0.06 s terminal shot is likely an end-boundary artifact.
Script0 spoken words; the proof is conveyed by pictures and sparse text.
VoiceNone. People appear as cinematic characters, not presenters.
On screenOpening and closing titles over generated footage; several sketch-to-result examples; brief black matte around sketch cards.
CaptionsNo speech captions; bold centered all-caps feature headline, small brand labels, tiny annotations on drawings.
SoundContinuous music detected, rough 150 BPM estimate at low confidence; no clear cut-locked effects. Measured −7.2 LUFS integrated, +0.4 dBFS true peak.
StructureFinished result → input/process → result → fresh examples → final input/result → brand lockup; no explicit CTA.
