Dashboards in the dark
A silent, cinematic dashboard launch that turns glowing UI modules into a 44-second product reveal.
Field notes / why it works
Violet rails emerge from near-black in the first 1.4 seconds, then a centered feature name makes the promise clear by about 0:02. Fifteen internal picture changes carry viewers through varied chart views, while benefit cards around 0:24 and 0:34 reset attention before deeper UI proof. The same oblique camera and restrained palette make disparate modules feel like one product.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A near-black product announcement begins as an abstract close-up of an interface. One centered name card at about 0:02 resolves the mystery; angled, moving dashboard views then supply proof before two plain-language benefit cards at about 0:24 and 0:34. The promise is a unified place to see and investigate metrics, made tangible through a progression from light traces to charts and detail views.
Why it works
- The first 1.4 seconds leave the product mostly hidden while violet lines light up, creating a visual reveal before the feature name appears at roughly 0:02.
- Title cards divide 44.2 seconds into three legible ideas: what it is (0:02), what to watch (0:24), and what to do next (0:34).
- The same oblique, dark camera language runs through the chart, dot cloud and table views (roughly 0:05–0:40), making different UI modules feel like one system.
