Five Impossible Selfies, One Template Reveal
A silent 15-second feature launch cycles through five fantasy selfies before revealing the Vidu template.
Field notes / why it works
The first frame presents a finished impossible selfie, with a lion and tiger framing the subject, so the payoff arrives before any explanation. Four hard scene swaps at 2.53, 4.96, 7.49, and 10.06 seconds repeat the raised-phone pose across new worlds; the black card at 12.63 seconds names the feature after viewers have understood it visually.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A person lifts a phone for a selfie in five increasingly varied impossible places. The repeated gesture makes the change of world easy to read without narration. A black end card finally names the template and shows a sample tile.
Why it works
- The first frame already shows the result: a smiling selfie-taker between a lion and tiger. No setup is needed before the 2.53-second first cut.
- Each new 2.43–2.57-second scene changes the fantasy category while keeping the selfie action, so viewers can infer the product use case from five examples.
- The final 2.72-second card turns the montage into a product message with a sample, Vidu mark, and short template label.
