Field notes / why it works

The film names and shapes the product in the first 1.5 seconds, then stages the debugging pain as escalating comic panels through 15.5 seconds. It changes from metaphor to legible agent UI around 20.1 seconds, adds a one-second workflow proof at 23.8 seconds, and returns to the characters for the close.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 30-second, widescreen launch film turns a developer's recurring debugging problem into a purple comic-book predicament. An animated helper interrupts that world, and the film switches to readable product UI to substantiate the promised fix before ending on a hero tableau and spoken brand sign-off.

Why it works

  • The opening gives the product a memorable name and shape in the first 1.5 seconds, then changes to a frustrated user's situation at 2.6 seconds.
  • The pain is staged as a miniature story: warning-filled monitor at 5.8–7.7 seconds, exasperated character and speech bubble by 14.6 seconds, then the helper enters at 15.5 seconds.
  • The answer has proof: white agent UI at 20.1–21.4 seconds and a dark code/workflow view at 24.3 seconds, before the character payoff at 27.4 seconds.

CaptionsNo dialogue subtitles. Big title lettering, one comic speech bubble, and native UI text supply the words on screen.
SoundContinuous tonal/music-like bed about 13.8 dB below voice; integrated −9.3 LUFS, measured true peak +0.1 dBFS. Cut-specific effects are not verified.
StructureTitle and world → bug pain → helper reveal → UI proof → hero/sign-off. Payoff begins around 20 s; spoken brand sign-off starts around 27.6 s.
