Two Workflows, One Finished Report

A split-screen launch film compares an AI-assisted worker with a manual workflow, building from a single prompt to a timed result and a visual punchline.

Field notes / why it works

The same-task split-screen makes the comparison clear from 0:00, while a prompt and five-step plan around 0:11–0:24 make the assisted workflow visible. App windows pile up around 0:31–0:38; the clean result at 0:42 and return to the still-working counterpart at 0:49 deliver the payoff without a dense edit.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

Two versions of an anonymous desk worker try to finish one concrete assignment. A restrained split-screen sets up the controlled comparison; the assisted side enters one request while the manual side accumulates windows, and a time-jump reveals the difference.

Why it works

  • The first line states the experiment by 0:04, while the opening split-screen makes both workflows visible from frame one.
  • The assisted side shows a single prompt and a five-step plan around 0:11–0:24; the manual side piles up email, spreadsheet, browser, document and chat windows around 0:31–0:38.
  • The product result appears at 0:42–0:48, then the edit returns to the other worker still struggling at 0:49–0:59. The return supplies a visual punchline before the 1:00 CTA.
