Dot-Matrix Phone Reveal Teaser
A seven-second square teaser cycles a tiny white pixel glyph before a spare serif reveal on black.
Field notes / why it works
The 0.00-second frame is almost entirely black, so four small bright pixel pairs invite a closer look; a dense glyph rewards that look by 0.25 seconds. Repeated symbol changes fill the first three seconds without a cut, then a small serif line at about 4.5 seconds turns the visual puzzle into an announcement while keeping the product hidden.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A black square with a tiny, almost hidden white dot array begins blinking into changing abstract glyphs. It withholds the meaning until a small serif line appears around 4.5 seconds; the accompanying post supplies the product and launch time. The promise is a coming reveal, made explicitly by the final line rather than the opening frame.
Why it works
- Four bright corner-like pairs at 0.00 make the viewer search a mostly black frame; the full glyph at 0.25 rewards that attention.
- The central motif changes repeatedly during the first 3 seconds without a cut, creating visual rhythm inside one composition.
- The 4.5-second text card closes the visual puzzle while leaving the product itself hidden; the post copy carries the date and time.

| Platform · aspect · length | X · 720 × 720 square · 30 fps · 7.74 s |
| Pace | 1 shot, 0 cuts/min, 3 measured larger picture changes (23.2/min); individual dot states flicker faster in the first 3 s |
| Script | No reliable spoken words. The automatic transcript repeats numbers and is an audio transcription error (inferred from the frames and its 870 wpm result). |
| Voice | None verified; no voiceover needed |
| On screen | 100% designed motion graphic, locked-off centered composition |
| Captions | None; one final title line |
| Sound | Audio exists at −18.2 LUFS integrated; the available measurements do not establish music or individual effects |
| Structure | Sparse visual hook → cyclic symbol variations → more complete glyph → one-line reveal → hold |
