Silent File Upload Microinteraction
A silent Rive upload card turns a dragged CSV into a bright import state in one continuous shot.
Field notes / why it works
The task reads from the first frame: one centered card, a document stack, and a short upload heading. A small CSV enters at about 1.0 s, creating a clear action to follow without any cut or narration. By 5.2 s the neutral center has become a turquoise import state, making the feedback the visual payoff within the 10.4 s clip.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A centered, nearly white upload panel waits in a blank canvas. A tiny file enters the frame, triggers a tactile transformation into a bright import state, and lets the viewer see progress. The promise is visual: a routine file action can feel polished and responsive.
Why it works
- The opening is immediately readable: one large card and a file icon, with the task named by the heading at 0:00.
- The external CSV appears at about 1.0 s and gives the viewer a concrete action to follow through the otherwise static frame.
- By the sampled frame at 5.2 s, the card has changed into a turquoise folder/progress treatment. The state change supplies the payoff without a cut or voiceover.
