Airtable Assistant's question-to-answer reveal
A silent 19-second launch demo turns one typed request into a dashboard answer and sourced follow-up without a cut.
Field notes / why it works
The typed question states a concrete job by about 1.5 s, then a related dashboard appears at 3.35 s while the assistant remains anchored. Answer and card updates around 8.6 s and a sourced follow-up around 15.4 s turn one static composition into a two-stage proof of capability, with no cuts or audio required.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, single-composition product launch demo begins with an empty assistant panel. A user question types in, a related workspace appears alongside it, and the assistant fills with an answer and supporting research. The promise becomes explicit in the question by about 1.5 s; the payoff is visible from about 8.6 s and deepens at 15.4 s.
Why it works
- The typed question makes an abstract AI feature concrete in the first 1.5 s; the viewer knows the task before any feature list appears.
- The same assistant window remains fixed while the workspace arrives at 3.35 s. That stable anchor makes the prompt-to-result transformation easy to follow with zero cuts.
- The answer at about 8.6 s and cited research at about 15.4 s give two successive proof steps in a 19 s film.
