A silent, illustrated 42-second scroll through an editorial guide, framed by a page fade-in and fade-out.
Field notes / why it works
The article fades from the flower illustration into a stable white panel in the first second, creating a deliberate reveal without a cut. The single 42-second tour visits diagrams and charts by 0:10, a photographed measurement example around 0:23–0:27, and a six-card resource grid around 0:32–0:38; the changing proof types keep a dense page visually navigable. The panel fades away near 0:41, returning to the opening artwork.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, continuous tour introduces a long-form educational web page as an object worth exploring. A dark, warm floral illustration fills the 16:9 frame; an off-white browser-like panel fades up over it, then the viewport moves through a sequence of claims, charts, examples, advice, and further reading before the panel disappears.
Why it works
- The opening reveals the page gradually over roughly 0:00–0:01, giving a static illustration a clear visual event before any scrolling.
- The 0:04–0:31 journey samples varied evidence: a diagram, spectrum graphs, written stakes, and a photographed measuring device. That sequence suggests depth without reading every paragraph aloud.
- The 0:32–0:38 resource grid and 0:40.8 return to the floral background make the experience feel like a contained editorial object rather than an endless capture (inferred).
