Break Up With Your Keyboard
A live-action comedy launch film turns a giant keyboard into a bad partner, then pays off the metaphor with repeated voice-dictation demos.
Field notes / why it works
The physical metaphor reads before the first cut at frame 6, then dialogue-driven failures make the joke concrete through shot 15. The tablet reveal at frames 1066–1102 leads into a short graphic bridge and real task proof before the callback and dark CTA at frame 1857.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
(inferred) A sincere relationship complaint is illustrated with a ridiculous physical version of {{OLD_WAY}}. Repeated everyday failures earn a calm intervention; {{PRODUCT}} then proves {{BENEFIT}} in real tasks and exits on a clean card.
Why it works: The prop reads before the first cut at frame 6. The adviser pivots in shots 16–22; the benefit card and proof scenes follow in shots 24–29. The final prop callback in shot 30 makes the end card feel earned.

| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 86.06 s · source 1280×720 · deliver 1920×1080 · 24 fps |
| Pace | 31 shots, 30 hard cuts, 2.17 s median shot |
| Script | Narration-led ensemble dialogue; roughly 190 transcript words, about 179 wpm while speaking. Cuts follow phrases, not a beat grid. |
| Voice | Ordinary frustrated adults and one composed adviser; conversational, lightly comic |
| On screen | Staged interior scenes, giant prop, sparse UI bubbles, short graphic bridge, end card |
| Type | Five cap-height levels in plate 6; crucial words raised to phone minimum |
| Sound | Near-silent space under dialogue; no steady pulse; X target −14 LUFS, ≤ −1 dBTP |
| Structure | Five beats; product near shot 22, proof in 25–29, CTA in 31 |
