Scribe launch: from glowing orb to working transcript
A 58-second speech-to-text launch film that moves from abstract identity to benchmark proof, interface features, and real-world subtitle output.
Field notes / why it works
Three colored discs converge into one product symbol before the name finishes appearing at 2.75 s, making a memorable visual hook. A benchmark graphic at roughly 8–12 s and a 99-language card at 14 s turn the claim into concrete proof; the later web UI, phone, and subtitled footage at 25–44 s show what the capability enables. The film changes visual mode without needing fast cuts: the detector finds one hard cut but eight internal step changes.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished, widescreen product launch film. It starts with an abstract animated brand object, names the product at 1–3 s, claims an advantage, proves it with a benchmark graphic, lists features, then shows use cases through increasingly concrete interface and footage examples. A direct building CTA closes the film.
Why it works
- Three glowing discs move toward one at 0–1.5 s, creating a visual pattern interrupt before the product name finishes typing at 2.75 s.
- The claim gains a numerical proof scene at roughly 8–12 s, followed by the “99 languages” scope at 14 s; the film moves from assertion to evidence in its first quarter.
- The second half turns abstract features into transcript UI, a phone, and a subtitled sports clip (25–44 s), so each use case changes the picture and adds a different reason to care.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 30 fps · 57.8 s |
| Pace | Detector: 2 long segments, 1 cut (1.0/min), 8 measured internal steps; visible content changes occur far more often within the motion graphics. First measured step 6.45 s, first hard cut 17.65 s. |
| Script | 120 spoken words · 139 wpm across full runtime, 168 wpm while speaking · 11 short sentences · 2 questions · 4 number mentions |
| Voice | Low-register, assured adult narrator; animated emphasis; brief character/example voices in the use-case montage |
| On screen | Mostly motion graphics and composited product UI; one short live-action sports example near 43 s; no presenter |
| Captions | Designed claim and feature text plus in-product transcript/subtitle examples, not continuous karaoke captions |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, electronic-feeling bed (genre inferred); narration forward; measured −14.1 LUFS integrated |
| Structure | 6 beats: identity → performance proof → breadth → features → use cases → CTA; last CTA starts at 49.5 s |
