A Robot at Home
A quiet 37-second launch film makes a home robot feel useful and welcome through a tactile domestic montage and a long shared-space ending.
Field notes / why it works
The 0:00–0:03.1 head movement establishes a distinctive product silhouette before the first cut, then 13 shots move through appliance use, carrying, cleaning, and human interaction without feature copy. Close hand details at 0:28.4–0:32.0 give physical proof, while the final 5.12-second exterior wide reframes the product as part of a household routine.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A quiet, cinematic launch film introduces a humanoid home robot by showing it already present in ordinary life. The first three seconds create curiosity through an isolated profile; the remaining shots answer what it does through domestic actions, then end on social belonging rather than a feature card.
Why it works
- At 0:00–0:03.1, one still composition lets the unusual head shape and slow turn do the introducing before any spoken claim.
- At 0:03.1–0:18.0, appliance, dining, carrying, and cleaning scenes turn an abstract product announcement into observable actions.
- At 0:19.9–0:37.1, exterior views and hand close-ups alternate with the wider household, ending on the product sharing the home's space. This gives the montage a narrative destination.
