Le Chat: Answers to Action
A silent AI assistant launch film that turns short prompts into visible results across four capability chapters.
Field notes / why it works
A one-word benefit appears within the first second and becomes an orange action button by 0:02.25. Request-to-result scenes show concrete outcomes, including a chart by 0:44, while four oversized capability cards at 0:25, 0:34, 0:46 and 0:56 reset attention across the 76-second film. Fifteen internal reveals give the 14-shot edit about 22 picture changes per minute without making the interface hard to follow.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A widescreen, text-led launch film opens on a single benefit, then shows several small requests turning into useful product outputs. Large one-word cards reset attention between clusters of examples. The final passage moves from product utility to availability across devices.
Why it works
- The hook makes a broad promise with one white word on a near-black grid by 0:00.75, then turns it into an orange action button at 0:02.25.
- Examples turn requests into answers: a sports query around 0:08 becomes a sourced phone result, and a data prompt at 0:39 becomes a chart by 0:44.
- “Create” (0:25.5), “Analyze” (0:34.6), “Build” (0:47.3), and “Plan” (0:57.2) divide 76 s into legible chapters without narration.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 76.2 s at 30 fps |
| Pace | 14 shots, 13 detected cuts; 10.2–11.0 cuts/min allowing one uncertain event at 0:08.6; 22 picture changes/min including 15 internal steps; mean shot 5.45 s |
| Script | No speech; sparse benefit words, short prompts, UI replies, and device availability lines |
| Voice | None; no narrator or visible presenter |
| On screen | Entirely designed: dark motion graphics, interface mockups, phone/device composites, one real-world camera view inside a phone |
| Captions | No subtitles; white UI copy and oversized chapter words carry the story |
| Sound | Tonal music-like bed; estimated 121 BPM, low-confidence tempo; −11.7 LUFS integrated; no clear cut-synced SFX |
| Structure | Benefit/action hook → everyday requests → four capability chapters → pocket/desk availability → brand end mark |
