Perplexity Assistant task montage
A sparse assistant launch film that escalates from spoken requests to visual proof and a quiet Play Store reveal.
Field notes / why it works
The black-field title and luminous symbol establish the product by 0:01.25, while the first spoken request waits until 0:04.5. Each request gets visual proof, including a music result near 0:09.7 and book recognition at 0:21.7–0:29.1; intertitles around 0:18, 0:33, 0:43, and 0:51 organize the escalating capabilities before the 0:58.6 availability card.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A sparse 3:4 launch film introduces an assistant with a luminous symbol, then lets spoken user requests and a centered phone interface prove what it can do. The promise unfolds from one simple action at 0:04.5 to screen-aware and multi-step tasks, then resolves in a restrained availability card at 0:58.6.
Why it works
- A black field and two-line title occupy the first second; the glowing symbol enters around 0:01.25, creating a clean visual identity before the first request at 0:04.5.
- Each capability is a concrete task paired with an observable state: a music card at 0:09.7, book recognition and recommendations at 0:21.7–0:29.1, and a reminder card at 0:49.9.
- Short thematic intertitles at 0:18, 0:33, 0:43, and 0:51 reset attention and turn otherwise unrelated demos into a progression from search to context and action.
