Availability announcement with real workflow proof
A concise product launch film that pairs a direct announcement with real task screens, team requests, and inspectable work examples.
Field notes / why it works
The launch status and access address are readable on the opening card by 0:00.5, then a presenter confirms the news by 0:03. The pace spikes around 0:12.5–0:16.2 as several request screens make the starting action tangible; later workflow and contribution examples at roughly 0:20–0:29 supply proof before the CTA returns around 0:31.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A compact availability announcement: a branded title states the news, a calm product representative defines the tool, and genuine interface and work examples show how to start and what it can accomplish. A closing card repeats the access point. The promise is explicit by 0:01 and spoken by 0:03.
Why it works
- The first card makes a complete announcement in one glance: “Devin is now generally available” and the destination are legible by 0:00.5, before any explanation.
- At 0:12.5–0:15.3, a fast run of chat and issue examples turns the instruction to tag the product into a concrete action; five cuts fall in the 0:10–0:15 block.
- The long 0:16.2–0:34.6 section moves from a measured usage caveat to workspaces and identifiable code contributions, then returns to the access message around 0:31.4.

| Reference pattern | |
|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 40.2 s · 24 fps |
| Pace | 11 measured shots, 10 cuts, 14.9 cuts/min; 4 detected changes within shots, 20.9 measured picture changes/min; mean shot 3.65 s, median 1.7 s. The long tenth measured shot contains several visible content replacements, so the visual montage feels busier than the count suggests. |
| Script | 114 transcribed words; 201 wpm over the whole film, 265 wpm during speech; 9 sentences, 12.7 words each; no questions or fillers. Automatic transcription mishears the product name and some technical phrases. |
| Voice | One adult, low-register, composed product-presenter voice; brisk, direct, lightly emphatic. |
| On screen | Approximately 60% interface, work examples and proof; 28% designed title, closing and logo cards; 12% seated presenter, estimated from the timed shots and sheets. |
| Captions | Small white sentence-case subtitles in a dark translucent lower box on footage and UI; the opening and closing use large centered title type. |
| Sound | Quiet tonal bed under speech (detector estimate: about 10 dB lower); no clearly evidenced repeated cut effect. Measured −22.1 LUFS integrated, −2.9 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Announcement → plain-language capability → how to invoke → usage framing and proof → availability CTA → logo. CTA at ~0:31; hard-stop ending. |
