A Presenter Walks Into a Wallet Interface
A 91-second iOS launch film that moves from a plain presenter hook to oversized UI proof, playful icons, and a trust-first close.
Field notes / why it works
The direct audience call-out begins at 0:00, but the product name waits until about 0:16, turning a simple studio introduction into a reveal. The old-interface complaint at 0:19–0:31 is answered by giant, bright UI screens at 0:31–0:44, and 27 graphic changes inside just 17 shots keep the explanation visually active. A calmer 1:07–1:25 trust beat gives the feature cascade a credible close before the logo card.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
An expressive presenter addresses a specific audience against a nearly white studio background. She teases a surprising emotional benefit, acknowledges why the category usually disappoints, then surrounds herself with oversized product screens and playful graphic objects as she walks through the proof. The branded end card follows a direct invitation to use the product.
Why it works
- The audience call-out starts at 0:00, while the product identity is held until 0:16; that gap gives the reveal a reason to exist.
- A category objection at 0:19–0:31 makes the cleaner interface at 0:31–0:44 feel like an answer rather than a feature list.
- The frame changes about 28.2 times per minute despite only 10.5–11.2 cuts per minute: floating phones, icons and framing changes sustain motion without rushing the presenter.
