One image, infinite scenes: Ideogram Canvas launch
A 45-second feature launch that match-cuts one subject through fantastic results, then grounds each promise in the real canvas UI.
Field notes / why it works
The viewer sees an upload at 0:00, a named edit action by 0:00.7, and the first impossible result at 0:01.1. A recognizable sculpture survives multiple matched settings before the actual UI arrives at 0:08.2; a second four-context object burst around 0:18.5–0:20.3 refreshes the pattern. The final URL gets a readable 4.92-second hold after 36 fast shots.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent-viewing-friendly feature launch: a familiar object enters an upload canvas, becomes a rapid succession of impossible scenes, then the actual editor shows how the transformation was made. A second object repeats the proof at a larger scale, ending with a broad creative promise and URL.
Why it works
- The source image appears at 0:00, the feature label at 0:00.7, and the first impossible result at 0:01.1. The promise is visual before a sentence is needed.
- The same sculpture survives six new settings through 0:04.4, so every cut is a variation on one question: what else can this tool do?
- UI proof arrives at 0:08.2, then returns around 0:21.6 and 0:26.2; the fantasy is repeatedly tied to a usable action.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Reference | |
|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 45.4 s · 29.97 fps |
| Pace | 36 detected shots; 46.3–51.5 possible cuts/min; 50.2 measured picture changes/min; mean 1.26 s, median 0.82 s |
| Script | On-screen feature and benefit cards carry the story. A 10-word Whisper transcript at 0:27.2 is explicitly low confidence; no reliable narration can be described from the supplied evidence. |
| Voice | None required for the transferable format; use text and music. |
| On screen | Approx. 45% transformed image montage, 30% editor/UI demonstration, 20% pastel benefit cards, 5% final brand card (estimated from sampled frames). |
| Captions | No speech subtitles; centered benefit cards with one bold phrase, plus native UI labels. |
| Sound | Music-led (inferred from audio measurements); rough 129 BPM, low-confidence tempo estimate. No clear repeated cut SFX. −13.1 LUFS measured. |
| Structure | Object montage → product reveal → edit demo → second compositing demo → organization/extension → creative payoff → URL. |
