Red Scribble Car Shader Study
A silent rotating car render whose live red-ink contours and hatching make code feel hand drawn.
Field notes / why it works
The finished red-ink car appears at 0:00, so the visual payoff is immediate. By 0:02.5 its perspective has shifted toward the front while the lines keep redrawing, and the only measured cut at 0:13.15 refreshes the view for the final 2.42 seconds. The fixed graph-paper field makes the moving shader easy to read without words or sound.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, code-rendered object study opens on an already recognizable subject drawn as restless red-ink scribbles over graph paper. The camera or model shifts through several angles while the hatch marks continually redraw, so one visual idea supplies both the hook and the payoff.
Why it works
- At 0:00, the whole car is already recognizable; there is no title card or setup to delay the visual promise.
- The view changes from side profile through front-facing angles by 0:02.5, while the red contour keeps wriggling within one visual language.
- The 0:13.2 change to a rear three-quarter view adds another readable surface after a 13.15 s first shot; motion carries the clip despite only one measured cut.

| Pace | 2 measured shots · 1 cut · 3.9 cuts/min · mean shot 7.79 s; motion inside shots is the real rhythm |
| Script | No speech, narration, captions, or on-screen words |
| Voice | None |
| On screen | 100% animated, code-rendered object study; no presenter or b-roll |
| Captions | None; no type appears in the frames |
| Sound | No audio track |
| Structure | Immediate result → angle study → close front view → late rear-view change → end without CTA |
