Vidu Object Consistency Feature Film
A 70-second feature launch moves from a neon brand sting and UI setup to a repeated-subject scene gallery.
Field notes / why it works
The opening changes picture at 0:00.35 and names the capability by about 0:03, then a dark reference-input UI at 0:07–0:10 turns the claim into a process. From about 0:13–0:26, the same plush cat appears across sharply different scenes, making consistency visible; real and fictional galleries from about 0:32–1:03 broaden the proof before a seven-second URL hold.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A feature announcement starts with a very fast electric-blue brand tunnel, names one capability in large kinetic type, briefly shows the input interface, then proves the claim by moving the same identifiable subject through many unlike scenes. The second half broadens from one playful example to real and fictional subjects before a restrained URL card.
Why it works
- The first picture changes at 0:00.35, and the logo resolves by roughly 0:01.25: immediate motion establishes a polished product launch.
- The claim arrives around 0:02.75–0:05.8; the reference-selection UI at 0:07.5–0:10.3 makes the claim operational.
- One black-and-white plush cat with a red bow recurs across forest, street, space, sunset, bed, and party images from about 0:13 to 0:26. The visual repetition is the proof.

| Reference | |
|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 70.0 s · 25 fps |
| Pace | 13 measured shots, 12 cuts; 10.3–24.0 possible cuts/min including uncertain changes; seven definite in-shot changes; mean 5.39 s, median 2.76 s |
| Script | No spoken script. Short all-caps headline cards, one compact instruction card, scene examples, and a URL. |
| Voice | None; the transcript's isolated “Music” and “You” are likely music-transcription artifacts (inferred). |
| On screen | Motion graphics and typography; dark UI capture; generated-looking scene clips and tiled comparisons. No presenter. |
| Captions | No speech captions. Large headline cards and tiny prompt labels on example frames. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal music-like bed, roughly 99 BPM (low-confidence estimate); −9.9 LUFS integrated, measured true peak +0.6 dBFS. No reliable cut-SFX pattern. |
| Structure | Brand → capability → interface → one-subject proof → broader real/fictional gallery → URL. |
