Field notes / why it works
The first 2.2 seconds hold on abstract grazing light before the stylus and product edge identify the object, earning the full reveal around 0:05–0:11. Colour moves from pigment macro to handwriting and real use at 0:11–0:22; from 0:29–0:44, roughly one-second technical and accessory shots raise the pace before a calm brand finish at 0:48–0:52.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A premium, voice-free, square launch film turns an abstract product texture into a physical reveal, then proves four benefits through extreme close-ups, hands-on use, and engineered-product imagery. It withholds the full object at first, names it around 0:08, accelerates into a near one-second montage from 0:29–0:45, and resolves on a quiet brand card.
Why it works
- The first 2.2 s show only moving light on a dark surface; the title appears over a still-mysterious object by 0:01.1, creating a visual curiosity gap before the stylus and tablet edge reveal at 0:02–0:06.
- Each claim receives a different kind of proof: coloured marks at 0:11–0:22, lived-in reading and writing at 0:18–0:28, protection and construction at 0:29–0:34, and accessories at 0:35–0:44.
- The edit compresses from 5.79 and 4.71 s showcase shots to 0.8–1.3 s inserts between 0:28 and 0:45, then slows for the product and brand finish at 0:48–0:52.
