Field notes / why it works

The complete amber launch page and oversized animated dial appear at 0:00, so the premise is visible before the 1.65-second push into the interface. A single hard cut at 10.7 seconds swaps the warm page for a dark terminal message, then the page returns by 13.2 seconds and pulls back by 14.2 seconds. The sustained centre motion, restrained date and CTA, and contrasting reveal make a reusable teaser structure despite only two measured shots.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A warm, instrument-like web page fills a desktop browser. A central clock dial creates anticipation while tiny launch information sits around it. At 10.7 s, a dark terminal-like screen flashes a hidden message; the page returns and pulls back to the opening composition.

Why it works

  • The large amber dial is recognizable in frame one; its moving hands keep a largely fixed composition active for 10.7 s.
  • Sparse labels give the abstract instrument a purpose: a launch week and a notification button stay visible.
  • The terminal interruption at 10.7–13.2 s rewards attention with a second visual language, then the ending returns to the starting page.
