Silent preview of webcam layouts and cursor styles
A 30-second silent editor tour proves two upcoming features through timeline changes, zoomed controls, and on-screen results.
Field notes / why it works
The first wide editor frame shows both the workflow and output, then the timeline adjustment around 0:02 produces a large webcam view by 0:06.9. Cursor options appear at 0:13.9–0:16.5, followed by tight in-use proof at 0:18.3–0:20.8; three quick cuts around 0:17–0:19 make the tiny detail readable.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, desktop-sized recording previews two software updates by showing their actual controls and their visible results. The viewer first sees the entire editor, watches a timeline layout change become a large webcam view, then gets magnified cursor controls and a playful cursor in use.
Why it works
- The first frame contains both the workspace and the output preview, so the viewer can understand the product category without a title card (0:00–0:01.5).
- A timeline adjustment at roughly 0:02 resolves into a nearly full-frame presenter preview by 0:06.9: cause and effect are both visible.
- The second feature gets closer visual proof: cursor choices at 0:13.9–0:16.5, then the selected pointer over the example app at 0:18.3–0:20.8.
