From a chat prompt to a playable pixel game
A screen-recorded Artifacts preview turns successive chat requests into live visuals and a simple playable game.
Field notes / why it works
The first four cuts in 10 seconds move from the feature setting to an active chat, then the split view shows each request beside its visible result. The demo escalates from one pixel object at about 0:15 to variants at 0:27, a scene at 0:32, and a playable game around 1:12, making the final capability feel earned.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A quiet, landscape product walkthrough starts at a feature setting, then shows a user asking for a tiny visual artifact. Follow-up prompts expand that artifact into a scene and finally a playable game. The promise is visible in the first 3 seconds through the feature menu and becomes concrete at about 0:15 when generated code and its live preview appear side by side.
Why it works
- The first four cuts arrive within 10 seconds, turning a menu setting into an active chat before the setup feels like a tutorial.
- Every request produces visible proof: pixel character around 0:15, three variations around 0:27, a scene around 0:32, and a playable result around 1:12.
- The persistent chat/output split makes each iteration legible; the viewer sees the instruction and its consequence at the same time from roughly 0:13 onward.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 30 fps · 1:16.7 |
| Pace | 12 measured shots · 11 cuts / 8.6 cuts per minute · 18 within-shot steps · 22.7 total picture changes per minute · mean shot 6.39 s, median 4.82 s |
| Script | No spoken script. Prompts and assistant responses are readable UI text; keep each typed request short enough to scan. |
| Voice | None apparent. The automated transcript's two Japanese phrases have low evidentiary value and do not match the visible English UI. |
| On screen | Nearly 100% screen recording, with crops and punch-ins; mostly chat on left and generated code or preview on right after 0:13. |
| Captions | No editorial subtitles or kinetic captions; the interface carries the copy. |
| Sound | Tonal, likely instrumental bed (inferred from measurements); no clear cut-synced effects. Measured −13.4 LUFS integrated, −0.2 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Enable → ask → first result → refine twice → turn into scene → make playable → final game. Payoff at about 1:12; no on-video CTA. |
