From Burrow to Berachain V2
A testnet launch film that turns a patient animal cold open into a rapid rocket montage and a held live-now reveal.
Field notes / why it works
The first cut waits until 0:13.9, making the switch from a small, earth-toned animal scene to a rocket pad feel enormous. The edit peaks with six cuts from 0:30–0:35, then gives the new-version title and live-now message a 12.3-second final hold. That slow-fast-slow rhythm, visual scale jump, and staged end-card reveal can carry another product launch.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A gently absurd nature-film opening gives the audience time to recognize a creature and an old-version title. At 0:13.9, the film abruptly becomes a space-launch montage: rocket footage, mascot imagery, game-like reward diagrams, and a grand reveal that the new version is live. The promise is visual before it is spoken: this is a bigger next chapter.
Why it works
- The first 13.9 s is one moving bear shot with a playful “Berachain V1” label. That slow setup gives the sudden rocket cut scale.
- The 0:23–0:39 sequence compresses character, ignition, and rewards into increasingly short shots; six cuts occur in 0:30–0:35.
- The film spends its last 12.3 s on one atmospheric title card, revealing the new version around 0:52 and “LIVE NOW” around 0:54, so the announcement is easy to retain.
