The team's favorite parts of the new R1
A 90-second vehicle launch film that turns many personal favorites into rapid, specific visual proof and a mid-film driving payoff.
Field notes / why it works
A 4.88-second forest hold creates anticipation, then nine cuts in the first 10 seconds reveal the product and establish a fast answer-to-proof rhythm. Feature claims are paired with visible details such as the wheel around 0:06, drive-mode screen around 0:28, and lighting around 0:41; the spoken launch-mode setup at 0:45 leads into a roughly 4.6-second voice-free driving payoff.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A cinematic product launch told as a relay of personal favorites. Multiple team voices name a feature; the picture immediately proves each claim with a close detail, interface, or real use, and a deliberately delayed action demo gives the film its midpoint payoff.
Why it works
- The first 4.88 s holds on sunlit forest, while the first voice enters at 3.6 s. The unusual quiet opening creates anticipation before nine cuts arrive within the first 10 s.
- Specific nouns have visual receipts: a wheel at 0:05.8, a color and vehicle at 0:13–0:16, drive modes at 0:28.4, lamps at 0:41–0:45, and production parts at 1:09–1:14.
- A spoken launch-mode choice at 0:45–0:48 gives way to about 4.6 s without words and then a driving view at 0:51. This is a small story inside the feature montage.
