A mobile app launch film that turns a statue into a speaking portrait, then proves the feature through phone UI and a human reaction.
Field notes / why it works
The first cuts at frames 22 and 64 establish a real source before the continuous panel handoff at frames 74 and 104 turns it into a phone demonstration. Shot 8 sustains a 22.76-second feature passage through moving UI states and a 64-frame focus pull, then frame 1214 returns to a bright human context. Narration covers 69% of the film and carries the argument while only one of twelve transitions follows the beat.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A real, surprising subject becomes a pocket sized product result. A quick narrator carries the viewer from that proof through a second example, controls, a human reaction and a direct call to action.
Why it works
- The first hard cuts at frames 22 and 64 make the source face readable before the phone takes over.
- The long shot 8 changes UI states and pulls focus at frame 730, giving detail without a cut for every feature.
- The bright return at frame 1214 releases the dark UI section into a human use case.
