Miro Assist: From Prompt to Presentation
A 39-second product launch film turns sparse type into a concrete AI board workflow and generated deck.
Field notes / why it works
A spare headline establishes the innovation promise by 0:00.5, then enlarged UI actions at 0:04–0:08 make the abstract claim tangible. Eleven shots progress from input menu to chat answer and a prompt-to-presentation payoff at 0:24–0:31; the long narration gap from roughly 0:14–0:27 leaves room to inspect the proof.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished 16:9 product announcement opens with a sparse category claim, names the assistant, then moves from abstract AI affordances to real board work. It withholds the strongest result until a prompt becomes a generated presentation, then resolves on a logo card.
Why it works
- The claim is legible by 0:00.5 and holds against an almost empty charcoal field until the first cut at 0:04.4.
- The product is shown doing progressively more concrete work: commands at 0:06–0:08, a chat reply at 0:12–0:21, and prompt-to-presentation at 0:24–0:31.
- The 0:14–0:27 dialogue gap lets the UI and generated content carry the proof; the final line and 7.5 s logo shot give the announcement a clear finish.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 30 fps · 38.7 s |
| Pace | 11 shots · 10 cuts / 15.5 cuts per minute · 6 internal steps / 24.8 total picture changes per minute · mean 3.52 s shot |
| Script | 40 transcribed words · 68 wpm across the full film, about 168 wpm during speaking bursts · 6 short sentences |
| Voice | One low-register, animated, confident narrator; no visible speaker |
| On screen | About 80% composited product UI / board screen and 20% title or logo graphics (estimated from shot durations) |
| Captions | No burned spoken-word subtitles; interface labels, typed prompts and the opening headline carry the text |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, music-like bed through the middle; quieter exit; cut effects unconfirmed |
| Structure | Claim → input choices → board/chat proof → output proof → brand close; no explicit in-video CTA |
