CMF's shape-led product reveal
A 12-second hardware launch teaser turns abstract geometry into engineering views and product details before a long, quiet end card.
Field notes / why it works
The first 1.3 seconds match a centered black circle to a bright rounded outline, making a simple shape change feel like a reveal. Around 2.4 seconds, the raised white form gives way to technical drawings, then two product details arrive by 5.4 seconds. Seven cuts in six seconds contrast with an almost six-second end-card hold.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, 12-second product announcement built from extreme close-ups of simple geometry. A dark circle becomes an orange rounded rectangle, then a white capsule; drawings make the object feel engineered before brief product and brand reveals. Its promise is visual rather than verbal: there is a designed new object worth seeing.
Why it works
- The first image hides the product inside a near-black circle; the red-orange shape at 0:00.63 renews curiosity before an object is named.
- The move from soft white volume to technical line drawing around 0:02.5 gives the abstract shapes a manufacturing context.
- Seven cuts fall in the first six seconds, then the closing phrase holds from roughly 0:06 to 0:12; that speed change gives the reveal room to register.
