Generative Recolor Across Four Design Canvases

A music-led Illustrator feature launch proves prompt-driven recoloring through packaging, type, illustration, landscape and rapid hero-art variants.

Field notes / why it works

The first grayscale package changes by 0:00.65, and the prompt, three options and coloured result become clear by about 0:09.5. It then repeats the same input-to-result mechanism across typography, illustration and landscape before six rapid colourways of one hero portrait from 0:49 to 0:55. The fixed geometry makes each palette swap instantly readable even with sound off.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A silent-viewable, music-led feature launch shows a real design changing when short natural-language prompts are submitted. It begins with an unfinished monochrome object, makes one clear input-to-output transformation, escalates through two different artwork types, then rapidly cycles variations of a striking hero image before a brief end card.

Why it works

  • The first artwork starts assembling at 0:00.65, creating a small visual question before the first cut at 0:01.8.
  • The mechanism is legible: prompt panel at 0:06.1, generated options at 0:06.9, coloured result at 0:09.5. It demonstrates the product without explanatory narration.
  • Three distinct canvases (package around 0:00–0:13, lettering/illustration around 0:14–0:35, landscape around 0:36–0:44) prove breadth. The final portrait at 0:44.9–0:55.3 supplies the most vivid payoff.

ScriptNo spoken explanation or captions. OCR-like transcript is music vocals and should not be used as narration copy.
VoiceNone speaking. A sung vocal rides in the music (inferred from the apparent lyric transcript).
On screenAbout 85% graphic/design and feature interface; about 15% end card and product display (inferred from sheets). No live presenter.
CaptionsNone. Visible words belong to artwork, input fields, UI labels, and the closing slogan.
SoundContinuous upbeat rhythmic pop/electronic track, music forward; no clearly measured cut effects. -8.9 LUFS integrated measured, +2.2 dBFS true peak reported by source measurement.
StructureBlank object → prompt → options → result, repeated across 3 media, then hero variation burst and logo end card.
