Photoshop Generative Fill: Three Worlds from Three Prompts
A music-led Photoshop launch film escalates from a road edit to a city scene swap and an aurora landscape, showing prompts and results as proof.
Field notes / why it works
The film repeats a legible selection → prompt → result cycle three times, moving from a small road detail (0:04–0:17) to a deer scene swap (0:19–0:34) and a large glacier/sky expansion (0:34–0:58). The UI establishes how each change happened, while the strongest result clears the controls before a framed brand line at about 0:56 and a clean logo card at 0:58.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, music-led product launch film turns ordinary images into improbable scenes through a repeated selection → text prompt → result sequence. It starts with a lone cyclist on an empty road, turns the road into a marked route, relocates a deer from forest to wet city street, then expands a glacier landscape into an aurora scene before a brand statement.
Why it works
- The opening holds a simple, legible image for 3.7 seconds; the first visible product action then answers what the film is about.
- Three demonstrations escalate from a small road edit (0:04–0:17) to a complete scene change (0:19–0:34) and a large landscape extension (0:34–0:58).
- The interface provides proof: selection boundaries, the Generative Fill control, typed prompts, layers, and variant thumbnails appear before or beside finished images.

| Pace | 20 shots, 19 cuts, 18.7 cuts/min; 13 within-shot changes, 31.6 picture changes/min; mean shot 3.04 s, median 2.52 s |
| Script | No reliable spoken script; the automated 20-word transcript repeats an implausible sentence over music and is treated as a false detection. Narrative is visual. |
| Voice | None established; no narrator needed. |
| On screen | Full-frame imagery and image-editing UI; no presenter or subtitles. |
| Text | Brief dark UI controls and prompts; final two-line white brand statement in a thick red frame. |
| Sound | Continuous music-like bed measured at −9.7 LUFS integrated; rough 71 BPM estimate is low confidence. No dependable cut-specific effect pattern. |
| Structure | Three prompt-to-result demonstrations, then hero result and two-part brand close. |
