Field notes / why it works

Four cuts in the first 3 seconds cross-pair café work with the payment device, so the product's setting is clear before speech begins at 0:14.5. Around 0:38–0:48, handheld and table-service footage proves the mobility claim; at 0:52–0:58, quick UI splits make three features visible before a clean name-and-URL card at 1:12.7.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A polished product launch told mainly through customer use, rather than a feature list. A wordless, fast split-screen montage ties the customer's work to a new device; customer voices then name the friction, demonstrate the product in context, and end with the outcome. Product identification is delayed until the final clean card at 1:08.5.

Why it works

  • Four cuts in the first three seconds alternate coffee preparation and the payment device. The two activities are linked before anyone explains them.
  • At 0:38–0:48, hands, counter, tables, and reader shots visualize mobility while a customer describes handling a rush.
  • At 0:52–0:58, short split-screen device inserts give visible proof of loyalty, receipts, and tipping in about five seconds.
