Search Any Site From One Command Bar
A 26-second Arc feature announcement cycles through color-coded site searches, opens a real result, then names the feature on a spare black card.
Field notes / why it works
A centered command bar appears over a memorable retro collage by 0:00.5, then colored site chips, typed queries, and selection rows create six visible steps before the first cut at 0:14.95. The map result and opened detail at 0:14.95–0:20.02 prove the shortcut before the feature is named on black at about 0:21.45.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A colorful, full-screen desktop background becomes a stage for a centered command bar. The pointer quickly switches among site-specific search modes, types short queries, then opens one real result; only after the proof does a black announcement card name the feature. The promise is implied by the action before it is stated at about 0:21.5.
Why it works
- The hook shows the command bar over an unusual collage by 0:00.5; the viewer has a visual puzzle to resolve before any title.
- Six visible changes occur inside the first 14.95-second take. Colored provider chips and selection bars make each switch legible without cuts or narration.
- The 0:14.9–0:20.0 map result proves that the shortcut reaches a useful destination; the title at 0:21.5 then names the capability the viewer has just seen.
